History O’Clock, a website by Philip Hawkes, gives an interesting perspective on historical characters – whether they be virtually unknown or household names. I will be visiting many places of historical interest and be focusing on the side of history you may not have previously seen – whether it be the ruthless brutality of Medieval England or the tales of romance and passionate lusts of the Early Modern period.
